He received his BA in Journalism and Media in 2000 and MA in History in 2012 from the Islamic University of Gaza, and PhD in Islamic Civilization from the University of Malaya– Malaysia in 2016.

He worked at different local radio stations such as El-Eman, and headed the correspondents’ department in Al-Aqsa Channel for ten years where he also worked as a producer. He also worked at Al-Mostaqbal Center as a researcher and as a director at the Centre of Palestinian Historiography and Documentation.

He has several published books including Peaceful Co-existence between Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem 1897- 1994. 

Director of the Centre since August 2019.
